A E Harris have acquired Chapman Driver Seating Ltd.
For many years A E Harris had been supplying Chapmans with pressed, fabricated, and welded assemblies. Based in Milton Keynes, Chapmans has been the market leader in the design and manufacture of bus driver seating. Their ability to understand and satisfy the needs of the bus industry was exceptional. When we were approached by Jerry Smith, Co-owner of Chapmans, informing us that they were looking for a buyer, we didn’t hesitate.
On the 27th August A E Harris completed the purchase and plans are in place to relocate the Chapman facility to our Birmingham factory over the coming months.
